South New Castle Borough is served by Republic Services as of September 1, 2024. South New Castle Borough has been added to the Shenango Township contract in preparation of the 2026 merger with Shenango Township. 

South New Castle Garbage Pick-up Day is Monday.

All billing for solid waste goes directly through Republic Services.
