NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND
INTENTION TO ADOPT
ORDINANCE NO. 1 OF 2023
SOUTH NEW CASTLE BOROUGH
NOTICE is hereby given of the intention of the Borough Council of South New Castle Borough to adopt Ordinance No. 1 of 2023, an Ordinance Authorizing and Approving the Joint Agreement for the Merger of Municipalities by and Between Shenango Township and South New Castle Borough. The Ordinance contains provisions approving and adopting the Joint Agreement for the Merger of Municipalities, by and between Shenango Township and South New Castle Borough, as well as provisions for repeal, severability and effective date.
Ordinance No. 1 of 2023 shall be considered for adoption at a Special Meeting of the South New Castle Borough Council on Monday August 7, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the South New Castle Borough Building, at 2411 Adella Street, New Castle, PA 16102. At that time the Borough Council shall consider the Proposed Ordinance for adoption, with a vote to be taken by the Borough on the same. A copy of the Proposed Ordinance may be viewed at the South New Castle Borough Building, the Lawrence County Law Library, 430 Court Street, New Castle, PA 16101 and the New Castle News, 27 North Mercer Street, New Castle, PA 16101, during regular business hours.
